Before there was a sun or moon, before anything was made, Jesus was already there with God. John calls Him “the Word.” Jesus is God!
Everything was made through Jesus. He is the true Light. His light shines in the dark, and the darkness can never put it out.
Then the most amazing thing happened. The Word became a person and came to live with us! Everyone who believes in Him becomes a child of God.
Key Verse
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.John 1:14, ESV
