Have you ever been in the dark and couldn't find your way? God's people felt like they were walking in the dark, because sin and sadness were all around.
But Isaiah said, “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light!”
And the prophet Malachi said a sun would rise with healing, and God's people would jump for joy like calves let out of the barn. Jesus is that Light! He said, “I am the light of the world.”
Key Verse
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.Isaiah 9:2, ESV
