Right after the angel's visit, Mary hurried off to the hill country to see her relative Elizabeth.
When Mary called out hello, the baby inside Elizabeth jumped for joy! God's Holy Spirit filled Elizabeth, and she said in a loud voice, “Mary, God has blessed you, and He has blessed your baby!”
Elizabeth called Mary's baby “my Lord.” She said, “You are blessed because you believed that God will do what He said!”
Key Verse
And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.Luke 1:45, ESV
