Soldiers made Jesus carry His cross. A man named Simon helped carry it.
At a place called Golgotha, they put Jesus on the cross. It hurt very much. But Jesus prayed, “Father, forgive them.”
Two other men were on crosses next to Jesus. One said, “Jesus, remember me.” Jesus said, “Today you'll be with me in Paradise.”
