Two Men Pray

A Bible story for kids from Luke 18:9–14. Day 229 of 365.

Two men went to God's temple to pray.

One was a proud man. He prayed, “God, I'm so glad I'm better than everyone else, especially that guy over there!”

The other man was a tax collector who had done bad things. He wouldn't even look up. He prayed, “God, please have mercy on me. I'm a sinner.” Jesus said God was happy with the humble man's prayer.
