While Jesus was in the garden, Judas came with soldiers carrying swords and torches.
Judas gave Jesus a kiss to show the soldiers who He was. Peter grabbed a sword and cut off a servant's ear! But Jesus said, “Put your sword away,” and healed the man's ear.
Jesus let the soldiers take Him. All His friends ran away. Jesus could have stopped them, but He chose to go, because He loved us.
