One night, Samuel was lying down when he heard a voice: “Samuel!”
He ran to Eli. “Here I am!” Eli said, “I didn't call you. Go back to bed.” It happened three times!
Eli realized God was calling Samuel. Eli said, “Next time, say, Speak, LORD, I'm listening.” Samuel did, and God talked to him.
