Saul was a man who hated Christians. He was on his way to the city of Damascus to arrest them.
Suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed around him! He fell down and heard a voice: “Saul, why are you hurting me?” Saul asked, “Who are you?” “I am Jesus.”
Saul couldn't see for three days. God sent a man named Ananias to pray for him. Something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see! Saul believed in Jesus and was baptized.
