The church kept growing! But some widows weren't getting enough food each day.
The apostles said, “We need to keep teaching and praying. Let's choose seven good helpers to take care of the food.”
They chose seven men full of God's Spirit and wisdom, like Stephen and Philip. Everyone got what they needed, and the church grew even more!
Key Verse
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.1 Peter 4:10, ESV
