Jesus' friends went back to Jerusalem and waited, just like Jesus said.
They met together in an upstairs room: the disciples, Jesus' mother Mary, His brothers, and other friends, about 120 people!
They prayed together every day while they waited for the Holy Spirit. They also chose a man named Matthias to join the twelve disciples.
