The Oil Keeps Pouring

A Bible story for kids from 2 Kings 4:1–7. Day 114 of 365.

A poor widow came to Elisha. “Help! I owe money, and the man I owe will take my sons away!”

Elisha asked, “What do you have in your house?” She said, “Just a little jar of oil.” Elisha said, “Borrow lots of empty jars from your neighbors.”

She poured her little bit of oil into the jars. It kept pouring and pouring until every jar was full! She sold the oil and paid what she owed.
