Josiah became king when he was just eight years old! He loved God.
When Josiah grew up, workers were fixing God's temple. They found a dusty old scroll. It was God's Book of the Law! People had forgotten all about it.
When they read it to Josiah, he was so sad, because the people hadn't been obeying God. He tore his clothes and said, “We need to listen to God's Word!”
