Out in the fields, shepherds were watching their sheep at night.
Suddenly an angel appeared, and God's glory shone all around! The angel said, “Don't be afraid! I have good news! Today a Savior is born, Christ the Lord!”
Then lots of angels filled the sky singing, “Glory to God!” The shepherds hurried to Bethlehem and found baby Jesus, just like the angel said. Then they told everyone!
