Enemies called the Philistines were bothering God's people. An angel visited a woman who had no children.
The angel said, “You will have a baby boy! He will help rescue Israel. Never cut his hair. It shows he is set apart for God.”
The baby was born, and they named him Samson. He grew up, and God blessed him.
