Building and Guarding

A Bible story for kids from Nehemiah 4. Day 157 of 365.

The people worked hard to fix the walls. But mean men made fun of them: “Your wall is so weak a fox could knock it down!”

Then the enemies planned to attack. Nehemiah prayed, and he set up guards.

Half the people built while half stood guard. The builders worked with one hand and held a sword in the other! Nehemiah said, “Don't be afraid. Remember how great God is!”
