Water and Anger

A Bible story for kids from Numbers 20:1–13. Day 54 of 365.

Once again, the people were thirsty and grumbling. “Why did you bring us here?”

God told Moses, “Speak to the rock, and water will come out.” But Moses was so angry at the people that he hit the rock twice with his staff instead.

Water still came out. But God was sad that Moses didn't obey. Because of this, Moses wouldn't get to lead the people into the new land.
