Twin Brothers

A Bible story for kids from Genesis 25:19–34. Day 17 of 365.

Isaac and Rebekah had twin boys, Esau and Jacob. Esau was hairy and loved to hunt. Jacob liked to stay home and cook.

One day Esau came home super hungry. Jacob was making yummy red stew. “Give me some!” Esau said.

Jacob said, “First give me your birthright,” the special blessing for the oldest son. Esau traded it away for one bowl of stew!
