After the flood, the people all spoke the same language. They decided to build a city with a super tall tower.
“Let's make it reach the sky! Then everyone will think we are great!” they said. They wanted to be famous, not to honor God.
So God mixed up their words. Suddenly no one could understand each other! They stopped building and moved all over the earth.
