Moses talked with God like a friend. He said, “Please don't send us anywhere without you.”
God said, “I will go with you.” Then Moses asked, “Please show me your glory!”
God hid Moses in a crack in a rock and covered him with His hand. Then God passed by, and Moses saw His back. God's glory was too bright and holy to see face to face.
