Cheerful Givers

A Bible story for kids from 2 Corinthians 9:6–15. Day 302 of 365.

Paul asked the church to give money to help poor Christians in Jerusalem.

He said, “If you plant a few seeds, you'll get a small harvest. If you plant lots of seeds, you'll get a big harvest!”

Paul said not to give because you have to, but because you want to. “God loves a cheerful giver!”

Key Verse

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.2 Corinthians 9:7, ESV
